murmura chivda (puffed rice snacks) Murmura chivda is very easy and quickly ready dish. It is basically from Indian cuisine, it has puffed rice and in it, it has chilly, peanuts, gram, some masala, fried coconut and etc.
Murmura chivda is very popular in Maharashtra, Kannda and Gujrat in India. kids love to eat this crunchy snacks.

murmura chivda (puffed rice snacks) Ingredients
5 cups puffed rice/murmura
1 tsp cumin seeds/ jeera
3 Tbsp of Oil/tel
1 tsp mustard seed/rai
4 chopped green chilies/hari mirch
some curry leaves
1/2 cup bengal gram rosted (dalwa)
1tsp of turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1/4 cup peanut/shengdana
fried potato chips 1 cup
How To Make
first heat a deep pan and add 3 tbsp of oil and roast murmura’s (puffed rice).
Heat the oil in a pan and add the peanuts till it get brown in color.
Now take them out on a paper and absorb the oil.
Then into the oil, add the mustard seeds.
When the mustard seeds start to pop, then pour in the jeera and turmeric and mix it well. Then add the green chilies and curry leave together and and stir fry, till the curry leaves become crispy.
Now in the murmura (puffed rice) add roasted gram and then add in the peanuts and the and pour all seasoning and mix well.
Now add salt in murmura(puffed rice) and your murmura chivda (puff rice) is ready.
You can store it in an airtight container, keep in a cool and dry place.
